200 HR Yoga Teacher Training Certification FAQ

Curious about starting your 200 HR Yoga Teacher Training? You’re in the right place. Below, you’ll find everything you need to know about our flexible rolling intake, hybrid learning options, curriculum modules, community mentorship, and how we help you step confidently into the seat of the teacher.

What makes this 200 hour yoga teacher training different?

Our 200 HR yoga teacher training is intentionally designed to fit the reality of your busy life. Instead of requiring months away from commitments or a massive upfront financial investment, our program integrates lifestyle and budget flexibility through a modular, pay-as-you-go structure.

The curriculum is divided into four distinct modules that you can complete over time at your own pace. Because you only register and pay for one module at a time, you have the ultimate freedom to map out both your schedule and your tuition in a way that respects your personal boundaries.

Throughout this journey, you will join a deeply supportive learning community while exploring movement, breathwork, anatomy, philosophy, nervous system regulation, and practical teaching skills in a welcoming, accessible environment.

Who is this yoga teacher training for?

This program is ideal for aspiring yoga teachers, educators, wellness professionals, healthcare workers, helping professionals, and anyone wanting deeper tools for stress management, mindfulness, resilience, and personal growth.

How does a modular, rolling intake yoga teacher training work?

Our 200 HR Yoga Teacher Training is structured into 4 independent, self-contained modules. Unlike traditional rigid programs, “rolling intake” means you don’t have to wait for a specific annual start date. You can register and begin your journey at the start of any upcoming module. You learn alongside a continuous, supportive community and accumulate your hours at a pace that fits your lifestyle, making it the most flexible yoga teacher training option in the Edmonton area.

What is the cost of the 200 HR yoga teacher training and are there payment plans?

To make our training accessible, we offer two clear investment options. You can choose our Pay-As-You-Go modular plan at $899 + GST per module, allowing you to spread your costs over time. Alternatively, students who commit to their full certification upfront save $400 on total tuition. This flexible structure ensures you can reach your 200 HR certification goals while respecting your personal budget and timeline.

What kind of support will I receive during training?

Students become part of a supportive and encouraging yoga community where growth happens both personally and professionally. You’ll receive mentorship, guided feedback, hands-on learning, and connection with fellow students in a non-competitive environment designed to help you build confidence.

Is this yoga teacher training good for personal growth even if I do not want to teach?

Yes. Many students join for personal development, stress management, nervous system support, mindfulness, and deeper self-understanding. While the program fully prepares you to teach yoga, it is also a transformational experience for people wanting to deepen their own practice and wellbeing.

Where is the yoga teacher training located?

Our in-person immersions are hosted at Lahari Yoga Studio in St. Albert, conveniently serving students throughout the greater Edmonton area. To provide ultimate flexibility, this 200 HR training features a hybrid format (in-person and Zoom), making it accessible to students across Canada. We proudly support a widespread learning community, with graduates joining us from Northern Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia.

What credentials will I have upon completing all 4 modules?

Once you fulfill the requirements across all 4 modules, you will graduate with a Yoga Alliance 200 HR Yoga Teacher Training certificate. Our foundational curriculum meets rigorous international standard frameworks, ensuring you graduate as a confident, capable, and well-rounded professional. You will have the practical sequencing skills, trauma-informed baseline, and applied understanding of movement to step safely into the seat of the teacher in studios, community spaces, or independent practice.
