The Enligthened Life

  • Explore the wisdom of yogic living: the Yamas & Niyamas (the “do’s and don’ts” of yoga), and the Eight-Limb Path. Through this module, you’ll learn how to thread these ancient teachings into your modern life and practice.
  • You’ll gain a grounded lifestyle foundation, ethical clarity, and a richer relationship to yoga beyond the posture.

Anatomy of a Healthy Life

  • Deep dive into anatomy, alignment, and breathwork. In this module you’ll explore classical asana, learn five powerful pranayama techniques, study bandhas, and discover how modern science and yogic traditions work hand-in-hand.
  • You’ll gain confidence in teaching safe, effective movement; deeper understanding of how body, breath and mind interconnect; and tools to support diverse bodies in your classes.

Finding Calm in the Age of Speed

  • In this fast-paced world, this module is your invitation to slow, deepen, and restore. We’ll look at the energetic system (chakras), explore gentle & restorative movement, meditation, chant and yoga nidra. You’ll learn how to teach modifications and help students access calm, balance and presence.
  • You’ll gain a toolkit for helping students (including you) shift from stress to rest, stillness to clarity, and doing to being.

Past, Present & Future of Yoga

  • This module invites you into the lineage and evolution of yoga, exploring its roots, modern expressions, and your unique contribution. Engage with ancient texts, practical applications, and strategies to build your yoga-teaching path with integrity and an open heart.
  • You’ll gain the capacity to teach with reverence and relevance, to navigate your role as teacher with clarity and values, and to envision how you bring yoga into tomorrow’s world.

Donna Freeman

Donna Freeman was first introduced to yoga in 1996 while living in Cape Town, South Africa, sparking a lifelong journey of transformation through yoga and mindfulness. For 30 years, these practices have shaped her life and work as she has taught everyone from infants to seniors, ages 6 weeks to 86 years, with curiosity, creativity, and a playful spirit. As the founder of Yoga In My School and author of "Once Upon a Pose", Donna leads trainings and workshops that encourage growth, connection, and joyful exploration of body, breath, and brain.<br />
